PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Plastic containers which are placed in the ground and will allow slugs to enter but not escape. They fit in the ground and when set properly, will have their entrance holes at ground level. The bait which comes with each trap is made of food material and releases an odor slugs/snails like and find attractive. The small trap, has two entrances. Slugs and snails will enter either and once inside will get caught in the solution. This solution is created by adding one cup of warm water, along with the bait pack, and 2 drops of dish detergent. The bait gets them into the trap and once they enter the water to feed, the dish detergent in the water prevents them from being able to leave. The large trap, works the same way. However, it is larger and has sixteen entrance holes. These features make this the better trap when you have a large slug or snail problem.

WHERE TO USE IT: In the garden, flowerbeds, alongside mulch areas where slugs are active, in crawl spaces, under decks, and around any damp moist area where you want to get rid of active slugs and/or snails. Be sure to dig out small holes just large enough to get the trap buried so the entrance holes are at ground level. This will enable the slugs to find the holding area of the trap that much faster leading to better trapping results.

RATE OF APPLICATION: For most applications, the rule to follow is one trap for every 10-10 area (100 sq/ft). If there are a lot of slugs active, you may put two every 150 sq/ft.
